Editing footage: Sequence change

After editing some of our footage and watching it back we were advised to make the footage look more of a montage sequence, as it flowed to much through out the sequence here is an example of how it flowed throughout the sequence:







so instead of this we decided to mix up different scenes from our footages to create more of a montage edit. Here is an example of the change: 




We decided that the order of the footage wasn't exactly how we wanted it, it didn't have the montage effect that we desired, and it flowed too much, so we decided to try and play about with it and mix the shots up some more, cut the shots down and make them more snappy. Overall we decided to stay with this idea and keep it like this, i like the effect it gives and it draws the audience in a lot more.
